PreperationStarting with sourcing only the best ingredients, our recipes are carefully constructed to ensure a perfectly creamy and thick flavor every time.

The French PotWe mix our Ice Cream in-house using a French Pot mixer in order to avoid ice crystals and maintain consistent and creamy quality. After the Ice cream is mixed to satisfaction it will be hand scooped, finishing touches will be added, and the ice cream is ready to be served.

The Finished ProductAnd that's all! No mass manufacturing or shipping, our Ice Cream is ready to be enjoyed!

About Us
Scoop Local is Durham Brightleaf District's only ice cream shop that makes ice cream fresh and on premise. We use a traditional Italian French Pot Style Ice Cream Machine to make fresh small batch ice cream.
